1. 2020 - One project cancelled and another on hold as a result of C19 travel restrictions. Each represents about a year's work and turnover, so not good.

2. 2021 - Project two now gets the green light and we arrange to have someone travel to Berlin to talk to those involved, set up some locations and possibly hire people or at least find potential candidates.

3. Vaccine certificates are ordered. We wait. And wait.

4. We order again.

5. Vaccine certificate for the person scouting locations arrives about five weeks late, except that person now can't travel because some nitwit at the NHS has spelt her name wrongly (missed an E) and so she can't get a valid vaccination certificate until the NHS has put the E back! Five weeks this nonsense went on! That's a whole year's work being held up by one incompetent official.

6. Oh joy! Today the vaccination certificate arrived with the name spelt correctly. Only this time the date of birth was wrong. Square one, as they say!

Oh come on, you're just being impatient :p

Today the vaccination certificate arrived with the name spelt correctly.
I always try to complement someone when they spell my name correctly , the times I've had issues with paperwork because... Osborn, Osbourne, Osbourn

Wonders never cease - on the fourth attempt (one not sent, one spelt incorrectly, one with the wrong date) the correct vaccination certificate with the correct spelling and the correct DoB arrived.

We were informed that the others would have been rejected anyway by the German authorities because the QR codes had been incorrectly programmed.

It's a good thing the NHS is not in charge of anything important that could affect people's lives or well-being and where a stupid mistake could cost someone their life!
