Then I'll say hi, pleased to meet you :) I actually live in Stewarton right now, just outside Glasgow.

I presume you mean a PROFESSIONAL who can help you with your website?

Not putting myself forward as nowhere near you BUT as a Professional I take the 'geek' tab as well as a Doctor being referred to as a 'quack'.

;)

Being called an Internet Geek should be a pleasure.

Yes, where I come from Geek is a badge of courage, something to be worn with distinction and pride.

Made me chortle....not where I come from, and I do not mean location... ;)

Yeah, I was referring to a rather large software development / business intelligence company. Everyone wanted our geeks :P

Gone are the days of 40 years ago when schoolkids taunted the smart ones as being geeks. At least in my circles.

Call me a Geek if you like but I think I may be too old to qualify. ;)

Hi,

I would strongly recommend you to get listed on Google+ Local.
You can hire a SEO company to do this or you can do this yourself after some research.
A simplified version of your Local SEO campaign would be:
1. Add a listing to Google+ Local
2. Optimise your listing
3. Get positive reviews
4. Get citations

A Google Adwords campaign should work as well :)

Good luck
