And i could always new clients!

Back to the question, I was asking because the book has lots of useful information and helps you to look at the way you handle your finances differently i was wondering if anybody had read the book and put it into practise and if they had i was hoping they could advise me on how to go about putting things into practise

I read part of it recently - I didn't enjoy the format much but thought the ideas seemed sound - particularly the advice not to buy the big home and fancy car as soon as you make money, but to put the money into investments that return enough money to make those purchases. That seemed like common sense really.

The one thing that I felt uncomfortable about the book was the lack of humanity - everything was done to create wealth and there seemed little room for anybody in his life who didn't feel the same way. He seemed to have total contempt for his poor (real) dad and was a total brown nose to Mr Rich (yet strangely unpopular) Dad.

However we have yet to actually do it ourselves so I can't just point you at an investment and say, "Buy here,"

I thought it was worth checking out.

Personally, I had heard/read most of the things in the book elsewhere, so I didn't learn much.

However, the information in it is really worth getting, wherever or however you go about getting it. And, as the book has these things in one place, it's worth flicking through at the very least.

It's the sort of book that, if it was taught in schools, kids would come out with a greater understanding of finances and greater control of their lives and the world would be a better place.

And I'd bet that the wealth created and the money saved on social programs as a result would be a lot more than the cost of the books.

But I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for our politicians to wake up to the idea that money spent in creating happy, healthy, well-adjusted teenagers will a sense of purpose and control over their destinies is money well invested.

Ahem ... no more politics.

Your not wrong about the format it did sound quite cold but when look at a problam and only the problam the answer does tend to be clinical when dealing with money people tend to get emotional and not think clearly when 1 person deals in his own business and is not bothered by how he looks then people will say mean stuff about him/her and say that your money hungry and all the rest of it but in reality they just want some of what you got

your business sounds great and you have been doin it for 5 years!
where did the idea come from?

Started out as 'Spare bedroom' 'pin money' idea flogging fart machines, became an obsession and finally a full on business.

Reason for success - assessed risks and minimised them.

You good with politics why not try your hand in it?

Silly jokes thanks for that piece of advise and iam being honest when i say i didnt look very closely at that i think i will start paying risks more attention!

I was all mega positive with the attitude if you put your mind to it you can do anything but not looking at the finer poits like the one you jus pointed out thanks!
