How would you market my new website?

Hi,

I have just launched a new website called www.movecompare.com and I am keen to hear your thoughts of how i can market this site and get it in front of as many people as possible??

Are you looking for online or offline strategy?
If funds are tight then online is usually the best starting point.
Also you need to consider who you want directed through to the site as just having a high traffic volume won't necessarily boost your revenues; what is far more crucial is getting your target customers to take notice.
If you expand a bit more on what you're target audience is etc then I'd be happy to assist further.

Hi,

Yes i only have a very small budget.. My target market is very broad. Basically it is anyone that is looking to buy, sell or rent a property and has access to the internet.. The site was designed to be very simple, meaning it should appeal to all age ranges.

I really am looking to build up a brand name as well, similar to moneysupermarket.com, athough i am aware they have a huge marketing budget in place.

You can increase the amount of traffic to your site by adding regular content, threaded with your keywords. You could do this via a blog, a news section or an online bank of articles. Getting inbound links to your site is the other key element of increasing your traffic.

As someone else said, however, more traffic doesn't always equal more revenue. You need to seek active and ongoing feedback about your website - make sure it is filled with 'hooks' to capture your visitors' details. Then make sure you keep in touch with them, building up a community of people who are interested in the content of your website.
