So you can create a signature but you need to upgrade to change your signature?

Great forum @Ozzy but this is just greed

I'm not being held to ransom any more

Thanks for the memories

what about if you click your name (top right of page) then go to account settings?

And that’s because it’s one of the benefits of full membership. It’s always been this way.

@SEO Developer though is saying something else. He is complaining that he was able to add it but now he is unable to amend it.

Nope, can't find an option to add a signature.

To clarify, I have no interest in adding one. I was merely pointing out that at the moment, free users cannot add a signature.

This is correct.
If you have a signature setup ages ago I left it so that your signature can remain, as a free registration you cannot add a signature. That does also mean, just because it’s the way it works , you cannot edit your signature. A legacy you had it so you can keep it.

Can moderators delete peoples signatures if they request it?

No, it’s called monetising a business. Nothing to do with greed.
There are other ways to do that

This forum has far too few relevant banner offers

Try office space, virtual office space, web hosting, accountancy packages, stationery, business mentors, laptops, phones, office furniture, insurance, recommended suppliers, funding, loans, list goes on and on

UKBF YouTube channel has really great content but isn't promoted on the forum hence less than 100 subscribers

What are people more likely to do - pay annual subscription or click relevant banner offer?

Not my fault the forum isn't monetised properly

Would you do some SEO on my website free of charge please?
What is the benefit to me?

Do you think my presence on the forum benefits the forum in terms of traffic?

I could give @Ozzy some advice about SEO which is to optimise the forum subject tags and create landing pages which appear at the sparkly end of Google SERP and get the forum more traffic

Oh wait you have to pay to create a tag

That's more important

Forget everything I said, definitely don't optimise subject tags ever

The forum already get tens of thousands of visits per day from google.

It’s monetising those visitors that @Ozzy is working on.
