How can I improve our trustworthiness?

We may not have agreed on our initial posts and likely a few things we're still not eye to eye on but that is fine.
That was mostly because I take a purist view of what is and is not currency and the subtle difference between currency and money. The way things are going today, that difference is becoming more and more important.

Currency is the trading token we call in the UK a pound.
Money is the actual value of the goods/services traded.

That all sounds a bit weird in English but becomes clear if we use another language in which the word for money is derived from the word for gold. -

La différence entre la monnaie et l'argent.
Der Unterschied zwischen Währung und Geld.

(A bit of esoteric etymology - the German word Währung is substantive of the word wahr (true) meaning making it true, so a Germanic way of saying the Latin fiat - so in this case, a fiat currency.)

Cryptos are indeed money in that they are a store of value, but they cannot be true currencies (yet!) i.e. a universally accepted unit of exchange. The hard part is the universal bit! That has to include Lidl.

And yes - Etherium does look promising and could be a great way to distribute things like online books, films and software. We shall see!

The very fact that cryptos are totally away from any government monitoring or control makes them begin to look quite positive in my eyes.

Cryptos are very public, every transaction is publically shared, which makes monitoring very easy.

As an example.

Melania Trump won her own auction.
