Hosting recommendations, please

Hi, all.

I'm having a horrible time with my hosting company and am looking to change hosts. Heart Internet and 1&1 have been recommended to me but I read that thread about hackers attacking sites hosted by Heart and it's making me think I should opt for someone a bit more obscure. Any thoughts?

Anyhow, I'm not looking for cheap and I don't need feature-rich as our site is fairly simple; I just want honest, reliable hosting with good support, preferrably by phone (current host has online support only and I find this very frustrating.)

CS New Media really does provide true 24/7 support. I've put in numerous queries to date re. my hosting and they always reply very very quickly even at some unearthly hour like midnight saturday night - excellent

My company host 11 websites with nativespace hosting, their backup & support is 110%, reliable & affordable I would highly recommend them.

I have used other host in the past and have had poor back up & support, which has caused no end of problems.

I use bluehost.com (US host)...good support and price.

I used heartinternet, godaddy & 123-reg before....they are also good, just if u have trouble, u have to call them with 0845 or email .. while with bluehost, I sort out the problem via the live chat..so far so good (finger cross)

Avoid 1and1 at all costs, they really are full of Sh**. Go with 1and1 and you will be pulling your hair out.

Hello, all. Well, due to the overwhelming amount of support for Carl's company on the forum, I transferred the domain to CS New Media and I'm happy to say it was a breeze (Carl did all the hard work himself, bless him!) We've been with them for a good few weeks now and not a single problem
