I recently perfected the design and testing of a "Virtual Desktop Infrastructure"
would anybody on here be interested in using it?
Will Suit:
1. A company who has many workers working from home/remote sites
2. A compnay who's costly IT manitenace contract is comming up for renewal
3. Anyone who wants to focus on their core business and not be troubled over Desktop/Server/Network issues.
Hosted Server/Network/Virtual Desktop infrastructure
As standard you will be provided with 5 Windows XP desktops 1 Microsoft Exchange server and 1 File server. (this is just a benchmark, any number of desktops and servers can be deplyed in less than a day should you requireaddition services)
With this system you will not have to worry about any desktop PC's support, any server support, server maintenance, network infrastructure purchases, network security or any technology refreshes.
You will not have to worry about purchasing Windows XP licenses, Exchange Server licenses, MS Office licenses, or any other software as this will be included in the monthly fee.
This system can be scaled up infinitely, i.e if your business grows by 100% overnight new desktops can be rapidly provisioned in less than a day and your new users will be online and connected to your virtual corporate network.
You will not have to worry about purchasing PC's, paying someone to set them up, purchasing software, or purchasing additional client licenses for your network
This system is ideal for a remote worker type business, or a business with lots of home workers in different locations.
All that is required is for you to have a machine which is connected to the internet, all you have to do is browse to a particular website.
This system will open you up to the world of remote working, offer your staff and yourself the flexibility to work from anywhere in the world. All of you staff will benefit from all of the corporate features which are only currently possible with expensive corporate setups (Shared files, shared calendars, web based mail, remote working etc)
Additional servers can be implemented rapidly (subject to an additional fee).
No need to worry about laptops being lost/stolen, all you data will be safe on your own corporate server
No need to worry about backup tapes, taking tapes offsite etc, back is taken care of for you.
