I would be very careful using Alibaba or Aliexpress. If you want just one or two items then fine, but if you are looking to start a commercial venture that is not the way to go. Both platforms are almost exclusively populated by agents. You need to deal direct with factories to get the best prices, to deal with quality control and supply issues. Most will claim falsely to be factories, in our experience 96% are just agents, and they are not working for you so be careful. If you have any problems when the products arrive in the UK you will face little prospect of resolving it if you have purchased via an agent.
.
Many will offer to ship to UK but it will be CIF terms only - you will have to pay for port handling, customs clearance and onward transport to your UK base. You will have no control over these charges which are set by the Chinese shipper!
If you are serious about setting up a business importing from China get professional help from a trade consultant who will work to look after your interests. They will be invaluable and a good one should actually save you money by negotiating better terms and avoiding what can be very expensive mistakes.
Hope this helps
Mike
