HMRC IR35

Does anyone here use IR35?
We use them all the time. In fact the IR35 family of rectifiers (35 amp rectifiers from the company 'International Rectifiers') seem to outlast higher graded rectifiers from other companies.

When you are going out on a repair job, never leave home without a set of IR35s and IR50s!

Current contract falls within IR35 so working through a mutual umbrella service. Not one of those proscribed loan schemes but a combo of "sensible wage and PAYE" plus rest made up of profit share, same business model as John Lewis. Let's see them outlaw that, they'll have a Middle Class revolt on their hands

I'm sure you knoiw what that means, but it makes zero sense to me.

What is a mutual umbrella service? What is a combo of sensible wage and PAYE? (Any wage involves PAYE) whose profit are you sharing?

It all gets a bit beyond my understanding or interest in accounting practices, but I receive a payslip with my PAYE contributions like any other full time employee, and earn a share of the profit proportionally to the profit I generate.
