Current contract falls within IR35 so working through a mutual umbrella service. Not one of those proscribed loan schemes but a combo of "sensible wage and PAYE" plus rest made up of profit share, same business model as John Lewis. Let's see them outlaw that, they'll have a Middle Class revolt on their hands :rolleyes:

    I'm sure you knoiw what that means, but it makes zero sense to me.

    What is a mutual umbrella service? What is a combo of sensible wage and PAYE? (Any wage involves PAYE) whose profit are you sharing?

    It all gets a bit beyond my understanding or interest in accounting practices, but I receive a payslip with my PAYE contributions like any other full time employee, and earn a share of the profit proportionally to the profit I generate.
