i am the mum of a wonderful disabled little girl .Jodie is at a special school that my council refuse to fund .It is a fantastic school and she is doing really well there .Would you consider signing our petition for 10 downing street that i have running at the moment if you would please take a look at Jodie's website. www.jodiesappeal.co.uk
jodie was born with Cerebral Palsy, Hydrocephalus and Epilepsy and in her short life of 13 years she has had to endure over 45 major operation. the only light at the end of this very dark tunnel for Jodie is the special school she attends, that incorporates a special learning system that help children like jodie to sit up, feed herself and even walk.
please sign this petition http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/LEAfight/
after appearing on tv we managed to get the funding for Jodie to attend this special school but for other parents with disabled children, the situation remains the same. it is a shameful situation and there needs to be reform by the goverment who as shown quite clearly that it values money over our disabled children welfare.
Parents of children with Special needs have to fight hard to
get the education their Disabled children deserve. Our LEA has closed all
schools but one and considers this school adequate, despite clear
documentary evidence that this is not the case. Parents are forced into
a tribunal system that claims to be independent, and must fund the
fight themselves. We are forced to fundraise endlessly, to place our
Disabled children in a schools outside the LEA area, that has a proven track record in improving the lives of children with Cerebral Palsy, allowing
them to fulfil their potential in life.
We would like all the help we can get in changing this situation for our disabled children and we kindly and humbly ask anyone to sign our petition.

Please Help, time is running out.
i hope you agree with me, that this cause is worth breaking a few rules for.
Warm regards
Claire.(Campaign to help Jodie and all disabled children and their families)
