Hello everyone

Can someone help me i am looking to set up a marketing compnay and need a hand

Where do i start, i was looking at taking on some football clubs but again i don't know how or where to start

So your going to start a marketing company but you're not sure how to market yourself?

or are you looking for some specific advice in another area?

There's plenty of people to help here in all areas but jus tmake it clear what advice you want and i'm sure it will come flooding!

My first response admittedly was the same as "crespospace"

If you want to start a marketing business then you should be able to figure who you want to target and what they need promoting for. And then move on from there.

When I first started the first thing I did was work out what markets are out there and what they need help with THEN I chose what I wanted to offer them rather than the other way about. That way you know you've got a market for your service.

Best Wishes

Ok, OK i know that was very vague

I just registered for the forum and make a very silly post. i know what i want to do and how to do it

what i was trying to say how do you go about and get staff, as i will be looking for telesales agents, i know what i want but...talking was never my strong point...now i can writing to that as well now LOL

How did you all find agents to work with and did you have to do much training

Thanks Andy

Well done for thinking about starting a marketing company when you acknowledge writing and talking are weak points! Clearly a man who relishes a challenge :)

We advertise when we need staff but have also worked as an outsourced sales team for other marketing companies when needed.

Is this initial approach to football clubs or follow ups from mail outs? Either way we can help. Email me on info zest4biz for further information on costs etc.

Yes i love a challenge

You say you do outsourced work, how do you find the calibre of staff you need (at the end of the day thats what makes you compnay grow) and what do you do to keep them. Do any other members of this forum have Telesales/Telemarketers staff that are of a high calibre
Telemarketers
P.S the writing being a weak point was a joke (but after last night i must rethink that)

We use a variety of methods:

Good advertising for roles with defined job spec.

Excellent rates of pay and incentives.

Assessement of skills over 3 day job trial to see if skill set matches CV before confirming job offer.

On going in house training on product and sales techniques to promote career path.

Retention for us is a core issue as we have a 95% retention after 4 years of trading on sales staff. They also are able to do a mix of duties so keep hot in terms of skills and interest.
