Help needed?

Hi,

I have recently built the following website:-

Even though I offer a full package service including one years hosting for £19.99 (aimed at businesses who wish to get their site online economicaly), I am still not getting the returns that I expected.

Can anyone please help me in the right direction to get this site off the ground, or even maybe make me an offer and I will consider selling it on?

Hi,

Are you actually monitoring traffic to see how many people come to the site, and then comparing that with the number who buy?

Couple of points - I went to the homepage and was shown this:

Our website is currently under construction and therefore is not currenttly fully operational, please call back again soon.

Which probably doesn't help...

Additionally perhaps people feel it's too cheap?

Not sure - but just my first impression.

Personally - I don't think it's because it might be too cheap. That's what I'm paying. What did put me off is the fact that you see the products for June which all seem to be dating / ringtone / adult movies sites. I don't know why exactly, but somehow it doesn't come across as a serious business.
Maybe it's just me...

I agree with the above that it doesn't look very professional at all. Take a look at some of your competitors and the majoriy seem to have a similar theme - thats because it works for your market. Your site looks like something you put together in 10 minutes. Theres no information on your homepage telling people what you do. I guess most people see your homepage and then leave.

These types of sites are 10 a penny on ebay. Likely chance is someone who wants this kind of pre-made website with this content will buy it from there.

Having looked at your site, you have no SEO on it whatsoever. Which means that its the "luck of the draw" whether anyone finds your site in the first place.

If you are expecting to sell anything on the internet these days then you need to ensure that you build a website that will be on the first page of the major search engines, as not many surfers bother to look beyond the first 2-3 pages, if they don't find what they are looking for they'll simply refine their search words.

Further you are not only selling something yourself but your clients are expecting to do the same so they will naturally need to have SEO built into their sites as well.

There is absolutely no benefit from building an e-commerce website first and then as an after-thought thinking of adding in SEO. You need to think SEO first, then build the design around that.
