    Hi all,

    I am Paul.

I am soon to be starting a plantation window shutter sale and install business.

Really exciting and incredibly scary times! Leaving the world of fixed salary and holiday pay

A robust business plan has been developed with enough financial support to ensure both the business and personal survival costs can be met.

I have completed most tasks required to get the company up and running. This site has been invaluable in gaining opinion on banks/accounting software/company set up etc - THANK YOU ALL!!

    I have an accountant :)

My biggest challenge is liability (public) insurance. No employees other than myself at this early stage.

The reason I am struggling is due to a personal bankruptcy in 2017 - this was due to the state of my finances post divorce (I took all debt with me as didn’t want the mum of my kids to have that burden).

As soon as I honestly answer the bankruptcy question on the common insurer websites I get a rejection.

    Any insurance experts on here?
