Hello to you all!
My name's Daniel (Dan is fine) and I run an Inbound Marketing Agency based from *insert location here*. Basically the team is 5 in total including myself, and we all live in different locations in the UK.
We meet up several times a year, either to hang out or do some team building activities which might include us helping each other with our own personal websites, or just going for some steak and chatting business.
The majority of our client base is for SEO as this is what we're most known for collectively and individually, however we do offer clients a wide range of different inbound marketing.
I've personally been working online in some form or another for 12 years. I was lucky enough to live next door to an entrepreneur who had lost everything when the .com bubble burst, and he gave me a lot of encouragement and inspired me to get out there and make things happen!
Now I'm in my mid twenties, and I've been doing inbound marketing for about 5 years. Before that I did some web design, front-end web development etc... Which is how I ended up doing what I do now, as I didn't feel good about creating people websites that would NEVER get any traffic or sales without the addition of good marketing.
I've joined UKBF mainly because I'm sick of all the marketing forums, they're extremely laser-focused on tactics and 'hacks', among all that, actually talking about business gets forgotten about and I'm sure I can learn a lot from some of you folks on here. Hopefully I can help provide some good content about various things as well.
