Health & Safety Assessments

As a company we have a Health & Safety Policy in place to cover employees/subcontractors.
An H&S Policy statement is issued to each employee/subcontractor and they are asked to sign an acknowledgment that they have seen and read this. Someone I have just taken on has been issued with the Statement and signed the declaration but has now asked to see the Risk Assessments that were used to produce the Statement.

Am I legally obliged to do this?

I believe you should and the employee have a right to see it.

You're welcome. Anything to do with Health and Safety, Risk Assessment policy and procedures must always be made available for all concerned by law.
