Goods that cannot be sold overseas

Hi guys,

Does anyone know of a database/website that provides information as to what items cannot be sold in certain countries? E.g. no alcohol in UAE.

Can't find anywhere that provides information as to what specific items (e.g. alcohol, medicine etc) cannot be sold within certain countries.

never know this.Why you need this info? Drugs were forbidden in almost all the countries though.

General rule of thumb is, if it cannot be carried on a plane, ship or truck then it will be either prohibited or restricted in some way entering another country. Therefore, check the 'restricted goods/articles' pages of UPS, DHL, Fedex and Ebay Global Shipping programme. If in doubt about a specific commodity just check with your local Chamber of Commerce/Business West.
