Hello,
I am looking at getting Goods in Transit and Public Liability.

Removals (inc Man & Van for house moves)
Vehicles:
1
Goods in Transit Cover Level: £10,000
Drive in Europe?: No
Public Liability: 1 Million

For that I mentioned above I have been quoted: £391.07 from fastquote.co.uk
What do you guys think? Is that a good price thanks.

    Hi @Roasted Chicken

That price you have seems reasonable for what you do.

As @WaveJumper says you may want to consider the Public Liability limit - you need consider what is the worst damage you can do and what the cost to repair/replace would be. Think, that somehow you were emptying a house that had a candle burning and it burnt the whole house down - how much would it cost to rebuild and replace. For most homes £1m may be enough, but if you are doing work for some wealthy customers, or corporate clients this may not be enough.

Some Corporate clients may insist you have a certain level of cover before they will engage with your services.

Also be aware that if you get a "mate" to help with any work, you will also need to have Employers' Liability cover.

    Good look.

I agree with Frank and wave you need to up the PL level but I would also consider a GIT level of 50 to 70 K
I recommend Coversure as they specialise in this industry
