Oh, well - that's 50 methods already burned.

Actually, some of them stopped passing link juice years ago.

Even still, it remains a madness within SEO that people will active publicise methods that work, right in front of Google, then act surprised when they stop working!!

Still, it's a good list, not least because it might provide a few pointers to people on how to be creative for links.

I'm think more the fact the post has gotten the attention of the SEO industry, and Google staff will be close behind. I don't think the list will worry them too much, though.

W3C used to be great - a few years back, just by blogging about something they were doing would get your link up on a PR9 page - automatic PR7 for you. Alas, Google devalued the juice from W3C links out a long time ago.

Really? You don't think they would find a more algorithmic solution rather than just getting rid of some of the most popular sites on the web? I can see that harming them more than helping.
