Free advisory business set up???

Hi All,

New to this site and I really hope someone can help me!
I am looking to set up an advisory service which would be free of charge.
I am not sure how to go about getting funding for this. I am not eligible to register as a charity as I have a criminal conviction for embezzlement.
I am hoping to offer advice to other people facing imprisonment. I just have no idea where to go for funding to help me start up?

Hi,

Social Enterprises do not necessarily have to be in the guise of charity status. Although I should point out if this is not a profitable and sustainable business the likely hood of grant funding is slim. Nontheless why don't you check out Firstport who specialise in funding and support for social enterprises. www.firstport.org.uk
