Finding a good local SEO :-s

Our website (JS Removals) is doing amazing, I mean really well.

BUT.... most work comes through paid advertising. And I spend a lot - but ROI is good.

We now have 15 vans and I have some photos being taken in 4 weeks to reflect the business growth, if we still come across a bit man and van ish.

I want to invest in SEO. I have done what I can, and to be honest (home removals aside) the competition isn't huge - but finding a good SEO business, ideally local, is impossible. Does anyone have any recommendations?

FYI - We use Wordpress.

It's a constant battle finding good SEO advice. The truth is, those who are really good at SEO aren't doing it for clients, or teaching others how to do it, they are using their skills to rank their own sites.

On the other hand, if you are only looking to rank a wordpress site for local terms, how good do you need them to be? By your own admission it's not highly competitive, so there will only be so much that needs to be done.

Why do they need to be local?

Local seo really is easy. You could learn all you need to know in a couple of hours. What you don’t do is what you have done on your forum signature.

But looking at your site there is almost nothing to tell google you are local.

Also worth noting that SEO is just part of the whole marketing mix. You can’t do SEO in isolation, you need a fully integrated marketing plan. You can’t for example build a website and then bolt on SEO. SEO begins long before the first line of code is written.

Why do they have to be local? There are plenty of people I know who are good at seo but they charge upwards of £1500/day.

Still no recommendations. I will try elsewhere.

I used to recommend other SEO's when I was too busy to slot new work in but it became very common that those other SEO's always let the clients down, so suggesting anyone these days is a best guess risk.

But I am confident to suggest @SEO Lady , she does an honest days work and is thorough.

I asked if anyone could recommend a company ideally local, nothing else. If anyone can recommend a company please feel free to do so.
Are you looking for someone to do SEO in a local geographic area, or someone local to yourself?

I am based in South Wales so not local, but if you want a few pointers feel free to ask :)
