EPOS for pizza delivery and takeaway

Hi all,

Im looking to purchase an EPOS for our Gourmet Pizza delivery business and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a system that would suit my needs.

The system will need to consist of 1 touch screen, 1 kitchen printer, 1 receipt printer as well as customer recognition software which is linked to incoming phone calls.

I am on a fairly limited budget at the moment, so price is of the essence!

Are you going to take all payment payment up front or are you going to go mobile and accept payment on the road, at the point of delivery ?

I know you might say all prior to delivery but in reality, I suspect some people will not want to pay before the goods arrive.

Thanks for your replies. I ended up picking up a refurbished EPOS System for £800 from a supplier I used to use and trust. Pretty happy with that

An EPOS is a computer and program used as checkouts, the equivalent of an electronic cash register. Almost any till that has a barcode scanner is classed as an EPOS system.
