Are there any companies out there providing a full cycle for video marketing? From concept to production, and then running, optimising and analysing (youtube) video advertising compaign?

Any ideas of costs involed?

If you Google video seeding agencies - you will see there are a fair few agencies that provide a service to seed your video.

Producing and seeding a video are two separate skills sets so you probably need two different agencies.

Costs will depend on the type and quality of video you want to produce and how much you invest in seeding it.

Someone on here posted, i cannot recall who, but in the last 2 months
1500 quid, their videos look great
I had bookmarked them but laptop packed in so lost the contact info.
Search the forum, you will find them, or they might see this thread.

Hello Vladimir.

What type of video within the sphere of video marketing are you referring to: explainer videos, animated marketing videos, etc, etc, and what type of style, 2d, 2.5d, 3d, etc, etc. Need more information. Have you any examples of the type of videos you are referring to?

I myself have been operating a business as the founder and creative producer in the area of video marketing producer, for over 5 years.

Cheers, Ace.

Nothing too complicated there. As I mentioned before you'll probably need one company who is expert in producing/editing/developing video concepts and one who is expert in 'seeding' ie promoting your video online.

Hello Vladimir.

Although I do provide the dual services of production and marketing of a video, I checked out your example video; real-life footage (and lower thirds). I myself do not provide real-life footage.

There is a company I know who does provide the this type of video production, based in Derby. Do a search for Stencil Media in Google.

Cheers, Ace.

Hello Ethical PR.

I don't provide video seeding services.

For the marketing of the video I do the following things, as the video needs to work together, and things need to adapt and compliment each other:

1. Video SEO
2. Email marketing of the video
3. Landing pages, CTA's, traffic segmentation (dependent on what type of video and where in the sales funnel it is to be used)
4. Social Media (their own)
5. Blog (their own)

If they want to use the video in other places, then videos are modified to cater for that area, such as for trade shows, where audio isn't possible sometimes.

For paid channels, I provide thoughts, opinion, etc (I won't say services here, for I do not charge for this) in regards to how to use them, recommend which ones to use based on message, target audience, etc, etc, but I don't and won't provide services for taking over the proliferation of the video through the paid channels, for a number of reasons including:

Partly as the basis of what is termed successful by some video seeding companies, number of impressions, number of views is not a success unless views is what was wanted, and partly as I have associates and clients who do provide these services, so I just recommend my client to work with them if they want an entity to do the actual promotion of the video this way.

For example, if a client wanted the video be perused and recommended through social media via influencers, I would give my opinions and what-not and recommend a past client who runs an influencer company. I will keep tabs and stay in the loop as to what is happening if my client wants me to, but no point me getting paid, not doing anything other than a half hour chat here and there, and won't start charging every nickel and dime.

Video seeding companies (a term I have never used to describe what I do, even though there is a slight overlap between what I do and they do, video SEO for example), also tend to push the message through their own social channels, I don't even have a Facebook.

On top of that, I do think one has to question what value is there in an engagement such as a re-tweet or a like? I presume my client would actually prefer a sale, conversion, download a trial, etc, unless they want viral, but my clients typically don't want viral, and if they do, I tell them, no you don't, you want to make money.

And finally as one has to draw the line somewhere, arbitrary or otherwise, so I draw it here. I can analyse and respond to what I provide as mentioned in the numbered list (change landing page, CTA on that, or in the video), so the inter-connectivity of the video and those things and how they need to work in tandem, as well as A/B testing, etc, etc is where I am be present.

Beyond that, paid channels, for the reasons above, I stay out of other than thoughts and opinion.

Cheers, Ace.

One other thing, when a client pays me for what I do, it is in my control to provide the required results, meet objectives, etc. If a client asked me to seed a video, and the required results are not the number of views, re-tweets, likes, etc, etc; I wouldn't do it, for there are variables that dictate if the required results are met, and some of those variables are not in my hands, thus a client would be paying me to do something where I can't guarantee the required results. I don't need and won't have that on my conscience.

Cheers, Ace.

Thanks that's really helpful. I have used companies before for seeding video's - they offer a mix of some of the areas you describe, plus securing editorial coverage with high value sites such as Huffington Post, online women's magazine channels, OK and Hello Magazine etc which in turn have secured buy in for campaigns and donations - so have a tangible return.

Hello Ethical PR. Glad it was helpful. Yes one can get sponsored press releases, editorial, advertorial, other orial jobs as well; sponsored blog posts on well-followed blogs / bloggers, posts in relevant forums and industry specific websites, some other stuff I can't recollect at the moment.

My regards, Ace.

Hi Vladimir,

I run a company that specialises in both. Check out our website and let me know whether it's of interest.

I can't post links here, but search for Lambda Films.

Kind regards,

Ry
