I sell a number of communication products on the GSP Ebay platform, and while some of the items mystify me a little why somebody in a foreign country would buy it from me, it's worthwhile - despite the removal of the VAT messing up my automated system. In this case I sold a radio - £275, no VAT and they just told me the goods were seized on importation to the destination country (unspecified) and I will not be getting the item returned, but I don;t lose out, I have been paid. Equally, the buyer in the foreign country has also been refunded. So ebay covered the loss. Never heard of this before.
