ebay and amazon sales down after 5pm?

Hi, we have noticed a drop in sales from approx 5pm onwards, mainly on Amazon UK marketplace.
Normally we may get an extra 75-100% sales orders between 5pm – midnight.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Page views on both channels are up slightly! we know there is massive increased competition but it does seem strange why we can pin it down to lack of evening customers.

How long has this been going on?

Hi, it has been going on for around 6 weeks. After doing further research on traffic, conversion %, sales # of orders, it does seem that mainly Amazon sales are affected and it appears that we are getting the same (sometimes higher) traffic but with less buy box %.

Thus I think that there is increased competition and as we do not have buy box (price related) we do not get the sale.

It is mainly gifts and home decor category.

Do you, Leather Briefcase, sell on these platforms? Have you noticed similar? Thanks!
