    Hi guys,

recently had a sort out and got all the CD/DVDs together we have in the house.

The charity shops I call aren't interested in them anymore. I did actually see a TV program where certain charity shops were throwing DVD's in the bin. Not worth having them on the shelf to make 50p per item (the time it takes to sell as well).

Have also listed them all online saying "make me an offer", still no luck.

Only other option is bin them myself? Seems a shame as some were my parents from 30-40 years ago.

I found Music Magpie weren't interested in quite a lot of the stuff I had. Some of my stuff went on ebay, but that was more for niche stuff (Blake's 7 collection, for instance). Sad, but you will probably just have to bin them - mine are in several boxes in the garden room, but at some point they'll go to the tip I think.

I might be interested. Send me a link to what you have and I can have a look.

The Hospice shop down the road from me are clearing all their CDs, DVDs, and books as well at TEN FOR ONE POUND.
    Changing days.
    We still use CDs !
In fact I have just bought 3 New Order ones off E Bay, for albums I already have on Vinyl, but (since we moved 8 years ago) my record deck HiFi isn't set up due to lack of room.....

i still have cd's (and a box of vinyl dating back to the 80's & 90's but no turntable)

my 24 yo son only ever had digital downloads but is rebuying on vinyl having got a turntable at xmas followed shortly after by a fancy amp and speakers

my 22 yo daughter has a number of cd's and downloads but mainly uses spotify

my 17 yo daughter owns nothing apart from a couple of limited edition cd's brought from Korea by a friend and some old now albums all her music is otherwise consumed via spotify
