Hi

looking for advice on this area or an agency who can do this for me. Looking for localized targetted marketing direct door to door to potential customers.

Anyone used an agency? Or done this themselves? TA / BA / BS / EX postcode areas

Thanks

We do it but only business to business, not your postcodes either but can offer advice if relevant

I'm not in your area but am more than happy to advise on principles and work on the targeting if you would like.

I started out door to door nearly 40 years ago selling unit trusts and I was get about £60 quid a deal then. Frankly I don't see how you can afford to pay a decent salesman out of £99 retail.

Canvassers will want at least £15 to book an appointment. How much do you expect to pay a salesman and make a profit yourself.

Sorry Morgan can't see there is enough in this even for telesales.

£99 retail? We get £300-£600 from cert for each house we do on top of the £99 customer contribution. Going rate is £50-£100 per sold job commission

You mean the Gov are using my taxes to send you off to the Carribean to keep warm in winter. Outragious:D

BTW. Your rates seem to be in line. This type of sale I think most D2D would expect 20% od the sale value. Good luck.

Not quite. The government tell the utility companies to pay us the Money so you can sleep easy. Unless if course your fuel bills have increased by 100% over the last 5 years to fund it . . . . But that would be ridiculo . . . Oh, hang on a minute

Over the years I have seen many products and services marketed very successfully through door to door selling. The hardest part is finding the right type of people to do the selling.

Well mr magoo -

As an update for you -

* the government passed the cert extension act which means we are going to hit 2 years of fantastic earning so we decided we needed to move fast on canvassing

* we did 3 things. 1 - trained our own install staff as to the basics of canvassing so they carry out a 10 property hit at every install and leave cards/leaflets with each customer, they get v nice bonuses for any extra measures. 2 - we've put together our own canvassing team to target specific areas for 2-3 days at a time. 3 - we found a canvassing agency which although expensive produces good results in the cities for us

There you go
