Door Access Systems for Business

Hi

I'm looking to implement a door access system within the offices. This will allow staff to scan in and out of certain parts of the building as well as the main entrance/exit.

I've just had the one quote thus far who's quoted to install the following devices:

I've got no experience in this arena and would appreciate anybody who's a bit more knowledgeable and can provide advice on things to look out for when installing a new system.

What you have been quoted is a keypad entry system. It sounds like you want a card swipe/fob system.

You can get basic (standalone)...or you can go a bit more sophisitcated where the system sits on a pc, is networked so you can monitor who has signed in and signed out, times, etc. Youd be looking at around £1,200 a door for something like that.
