You quote fake statistics and build straw man arguments. Viruses mutate. The Indian variant is not going to be the last mutation. It is on an escape vector. This means that the vaccine is less effective. Not only is it more infectious, you need both doses of the vaccine to get a reasonable level of protection. When this variant mutates, it is possible that it’s next mutation takes it further away from the vaccine.
So it is just wrong to say that it does not matter so much to catch it. That the vulnerable are protected. The more people who catch it, the more likely there will be mutations and the more variants there are then one or more of these variations will be less and less affected by the vaccine.
