ive just open a retail shop selling designer petware i need ways to get people to know am here ,am in a fantastic courtyard but not many people know its there ,i also have another petware shop opening 6 miles away ,how does pr work ?how expensive is it ?

I'd say definetley so, what you're doing is a bit quirky.

Have a chat with a couple of the PissARtists on the forums and see what ideas they come up with.

I'd say Andy at 10 Yetis would be a good match with you (he loves anythign quirky), but I'm biased becuase he's doing such a great job for us.

Hi Dawn

Just looked at your site and I think a good thing to do is to finish your online shopping store whilst beginning a plan for PR. Your product is very attractive. Hey, if you had the online store open and a trendy outfit for my little angel of a Jack Russell, I would buy one.

I have seen lots of dog clothes on Ebay before now. Have you ever considered this as a route to market?

Other ideas off the top of my head would include:

Business cards / flyers at animal rescue homes perhaps offering a % to the home on any sales that come from there.

Sponsoring a class at a local / regional dog show.

Features in pet magazines.

And the word of mouth method which always works well.
