You could add a blog if relevant - basically its a sort of newsletter (browsed online), or newspaper column equivalent, where you write posts on a semi-regular basis.

An example in your case might be to use a facility such as this to do little notes when you acquire new stock your customers may be interested in, when you run promotions, and so forth.

It is difficult to build up content within an eShop - definitely - so you may need to do some outside the box thinking. What about some text on what to wear with different bags, for a start?

You could start a blog on wordpress.com and link to it from your homepage. Tha would be a nice easy place to start.

Update it regularly with fashion & product news etc.

It would be better if the blog was hosted on your own domain but if you do it on WP you'll get the benefits of the backlinks and tagging system.

PM me if you'd like more advice :)

Petera - If you are using a free version you could only use one of the free default themes available of Wordpress. If you would like to get the theme customized you will have to get a paid version, will allows to make the necessary modification to the code. If you are good at designing, you can do it yourself and I believe it is not very difficult to integrate it with your website.

Imageonline - Apart from articles, you could have a buzz section which you could be used to track trends in fashion accesories. You could post pcitures of celebrities with their handbags and relate it to a product that you have on your website. You could also build news aggretor of relevant sources that would automatically update content from the source. More stuff for search engines to index and more information for customers to keep coming back for more.

links pages with descriptions/profiles of sites your linking to can be added by the thousand on a dynamic site quite easily. then there's keyword tag clouds, xml feeds from new sites, picture galleries with descriptions for each picture...etc

if you're smart about it u can get traffic out of thin air ;)
