Christmas job uniform issues & other

I am hoping the clever people here can all help me:

I have just landed a part time job at a large store, I am to be employed as a pretend Santa. Having accepted the job, I now see in my new contract of employment that I have to wear a very large red staff uniform and grow a large white beard.

I also have to wear very large black boots inside the store and the uniform is a very large red outfit with fake fur trims making it all very, very hot.

Employment Law question
My question is under employment law, as no mention of the staff uniform was displayed in the job advert or mentioned at my interview, do I have to wear it? also no one mentioned a large white beard or black boots. So am I in my rights to refuse to dress in a manner that may cause my body to over heat and result in personal injury

Copywrite Law
As I am a pretend Santa, will I or the store be liable for copywrite infringement if the real Santa turns up? Am I also likely to be breaching Santa's trademark?

Trade Union issues
Also if the real Santa is a member of a trade union, Am I also likely to face some trade union objections and find pickets blocking the public's access to the store?

Disclosure advice
My son has suggested writing a letter to the real Santa as he seems to be a really nice guy, my son writes every year and always seems to get everything detailed on his list contained in his letter. However, I need this job and I am concerned that my writing may alert the real Santa to my stealing his job..

Do you think Santa will be offended by my taking his job and if I am expected to complete his assigned tasks on Christmass Eve, will there be issues with the working time directive? (it is a 24 hour shift) Also is a sledge pulled by raindeer making multiple deliveries classified as a commercial operation and therefore need to be fitted with a tachograph and will it be subject to Driver hours regulations..

I need the money from this job as I have just received a leaflet offering an excellent range of "Christmas" gifts and it even wishes me a Very Merry Christmas... Isn't that so nice.....
