Need a Chinese Visa before 9th of October - does anyone know if this is possible?

I am trying to ring the Chinese Embassy but was on hold for 50 minutes before it cut off! Arrrrrrrrrrrrh!

Possibly. There is a 2/3 day service. Have you got all the documents needed?

It is Chinese National Day holidays all this week, which could be behind the phone problem.

I managed to get my visa in 3 days, but it did mean driving to collect.

It is possible and best that you either visit their embassy or use a proper agent (you will really pay for that service, though).

if going to HK (e.g. one of the fairs), you can also get a visa there, but, if memory is correct it is more expensive!

Hello Karen,

Currently I have an APEC card so don't need a visa, but the rules on APEC have tightened up so much that when I renew I have no idea if I will get another.

So for my future ref, what documents would you need to get a (say) annual multi trip visa in one day please?

Currently to get a multi entry visa you need to have a letter of invite from the Chinese company on headed paper, signed and stamped and you also have to of had previous business visas.
