Hello all.

I've been getting calls from Channel Adviser about using them to link all our products and orders.

I just want to know if anyone uses them or anything like Channel Adviser?

We basically sell products on Amazon, our own website, ebay and etsy, at the moment we are having to go to all sites to print of packaging slips, which can be a nightmare at times.

We'd like to grow the number of platforms we sell on and also maybe get some more websites up and running, but want every order in 1 place.

Any help would be great.

Hi JDL9000,

We offer a free 30 day trial of our software at our website.

This will offer unlimited Product limits, 1 user and Ticket support during your trial to help you get started.

It might be worth noting that we do not charge per channel integration so you can introduce as many channels as you like.

All orders from your channels are pulled into our software ready for processing and you can integrate your shipping services to coincide with your order management and inventory sync.

The trial is a much better foreground than starting on our free express package as you are limited to 200 products, have a sync time of 1 sync P/H and have no ticket support available.

If you have any questions regarding our software please do not hesitate to ask.

We use Linnworks with our shopping cart, eBay, Amazon & telephone sales. It works great it brings in the sales, updates quantities, prints invoices & shiping labels.

(I think) Linnworks Express (with a 200 product limit) is free. We use entry level (upto 1K of skus) & only cost about £40 per month.

Linnworks is just a glorified Inventory Management system it has no CRM to speak of, I think Channel Advisor does more on the listing & marketing side.

Not entirely true as we do have a basic CRM system for record keeping purposes. Details can be found in our documentation.

But yes as for the marketing side of things we are key focused at order management and inventory automation.

However...we do recommend a software called 'Reply Manager' that works along side Linnworks very well. i would advise checking them out by googling replymanager (as i cant post Links yet...).

Linn should integrate with Mandrill for outgoing emails and Zendesk for incoming customer support queries.

We have a Linnworks Uservoice available where you can request any developments in the software you may be interested in or show interest by voting for requests from other Linnworks users.

To answer the OP's question: We tried Channel Advisor a few years back, sales were fantastic and promised the world, customer support was appauling, and we never even managed to launch using Channel Advisor, yet were locked into a 12 month contract at £400+ / month. A friend of mine who signed up at the same time got a little further and did manage to launch as he had two full time developers to throw at it, but he gave up after the year as he found the support awful. In short: Stay clear!
