We need to get a box made up that will hold a kit of multiple items in smaller boxes for retail and online distribution.

I have a company that can do the graphic designs for me, but wondered if anyone had used / heard of / could recommend a company that would produce the individual boxes from bespoke die lines?

thanks people, i'll check that out

- have a supplier in china already that could do it, but really want the first batch to be done here so I can quality check.

Hi,

I used to own a print and print finishing company based in london.
I still have a large selection of contacts that can make the die rules and make the boxes for you.

Dies can be made within 48 hrs and then the run for diecutting.

Please PM for further details.

Why pay twice for tooling costs?

If your supplier in China is any good then the will develop it until final approval so you know exactly what the delivery will look like when it arrives.

Hi,

If you wish to make a 1 off prototype there are companies that can do this without the need for dies. They use plotters that will do the job using a blade for the mock and hand folding tools.

I have done Lots of high profile companies with their packaging out sourced to us. If the final product is in the uk and needs o be packaged here it works out cheaper as no need to transport.

Depending on the weight of the material thousands can be made an hour.

Dies in the uk are fairly priced as long as you know how to get it made properly for you layout, problems arises when most designer think they know packaging techniques but no nothing about the machine it will go onto to be diecut and having to use more machine then necessary and more paper wastage. I have seen this happen many times.
