Ive just rang direct line to cancel the car insurance policy I have them and was told that I cannot do it over the phone. I need to send a covering letter along with my certificate of insurance and £26 before they cancel it.
Is there any reason I shouldn't just phone my bank and ask them to stop all payments to Direct Line? Saving myself the hassle of finding this certificate and writing a letter and saving myself £26?
