I have made above 9 posts but the counter does not seem to be counting it, how come?

If half of them were spam, or duplicitous, the mods would have deleted them and therefor would be subtracted from your total.

Hi there

The counter is working fine, I've deleted some of your posts as they're paving a pattern all too familiar on the forum. Short post content and rapid posting over a very short time span, this together with the typical content in your posts is sending the wrong impressions to me. Your intro post was deleted as it was simply a self promotion post and not in the fairly broad acceptance of posts expected in the Intro forum. Should you wish to repost an Intro please read our guidelines which can be found here.

Best regards

Ray (I would have PM'd you but that wasn't available)

Blimey - I have never looked at the number of posts I have made, and I would not have the faintest idea whether it was right or wrong!!!!

I see, there was some similarity (but not 100% the same) in a couple of posts but I did not realise they were not allowed.

Its all to do with perception ... some post at the start just for the sake of it, short replies that dont actually mean anything or welcome everyone that joined the day before they did. Basically just join in and help out, gets your name known and we find out a little about you etc and it makes you all the more appealing when we need to go find some expertise in your field etc.

;)
