Buying an eBay account?

I've saw it's getting more and more popular to buy&sell an established eBay account. Although its against terms and conditions, nobody seems to care about it and people just go ahead. Did anyone buy an eBay account or know someone who did it? I'm considering buying one but I've got some concerns.

Some of the companies who sell them, are registered businesses, but could I sue them if I don't receive an account which shouldn't be sold at first place?

Ebay are evry good at seeing such accounts, probably due to their relationship with paypal, and are just as likely to suspend or bar you again, you might find it a massive waste of money.

You have to accept you have no real control over ebay or their rules, sooner or later it would come back to bite you. If your last account got suspended, why would the new one be any different?

eBay allowed me to create a new account, but they won't increase the sales limit (10 items per month in my case is a joke). They will apparently remove the limit when 1 year passes from the date my main account was suspended.

Same advice applies, if ebay were to realise you were trying to get around their ruling, they will shut down both your accounts, and probably ban you as well.

It's your business and your risk, only you can decide if it is worth it.

you'll be fine so long as you buy an organic account from a real ebayer, and not an artificial stealth account from a forum swindler, as these accounts are toxic and don't last long. A real account with actual selling history will be expensive

Sounds like high risk/reward to me. I guess it depends how much trouble you'd be in if you got banned from eBay? Can your other channels support you and your business?

I assume you are wanting to buy one as your existing account has been suspended??

You have to be very careful here, and personally wouldn't take the risk as eBay have quite a number of ways they can track you down, and if they do find you, you will be banned.
