I notice that Trading Standards now have a "Buy With Confidence" website for approved traders. Now it's been advertised more, I think the general public are becoming aware of it.
There's always been a lot of "issues" with web designers and you always hear of nightmare stories. As the owner of a web design company, I aim to provide a service that is as far away from the horror stories as possible, and always looking for ways to build the confidence of my potential customers.
I've been looking at the "Buy With Confidence" website and can see the benefits it could offer me, but what I want to know is if being accredited by an organisation like this would give you, as the buyer, more confidence in a scheme?
I don't necessarily think I'd generate much business through the directory on the Buy With Confidence website, but if it helped to secure more sales through customers being assured by my services, then I'll certainly join it.
Any thoughts?
The website is http://www.buywithconfidence.gov.uk/
