currently work in the contract trade fitting products into London office, i have got a reputation of being good at my job installing the product and have been approached by a main supplier to deal directly with them and do the work they sub contract to me.
I have no business experience and currently work on a day rate for my current contractor.
My current contractor have offered me a commission on any work i get from this main supplier, as they do not deal with them currently.
I have always wanted my own business but have no business experience or start up capital.
Would I be best to offer my current contractor the option of starting a sister company of which I am a part owner, whereby he does the business side and I get and do the work but charge it through the sister company and take a wage but still have a director holding whereby I take either a directory emolument or a commission.
Any advice or information on who I should talk to or what my best option is.
