Hi Gary, I was thinking in terms of forming alliances with other consultancys in the UK (via PM or starting a thread perhaps).
If for example , I received a call from a customer wanting support in an area I was not comfortable with or it was too far out of my 'catchment area' to be profitable, then I like to be able to call upon a firm I know can meet the requirement, get a drink for any referral and hope the same was reciprocated at a later date.
If this meant I could offer my customers a broad spectrum of professional services via a sub contractual means, then it increases my offerings and allows us all to spread our wings from our normal geographic confines.
