Business address ideas needed

Hi guys

My ltd company is registered to my old rented property. It became old a couple of months ago as I left London for the family home when the pandemic hit. As I won’t be moving back there, and I don’t want to register my business to my family’s address, does anyone have any ideas to how I can register my company to a new address? I was thinking a P.O. Box perhaps, but any better suggestions would be great.

You will find various businesses that offer this as a service. Google something like registered office services. I have clients who use them. Just make sure they send you all post received promptly.

Another option - some accountants offer it for their clients.

PO Boxes are expensive, but worth it as all your post is forwarded by Royal Mail promptly. However I'm not sure you can register a company on Companies House under a PO Box number as I think they need a physical address.

Can you not use your accountants address? We have a few clients who's registered office is our address

By law you must provide 'a physical address at which documents can be served' - that precludes PO Box

Most serviced office providers and many accountants will provide this service at a cost.

We have 426 corporate clients registered at our offices, and none resent paying the charge.

We would have to do a lot of tax returns to compensate for forgoing that passive income!

The address can be your accountant's address or any other address you choose.
Several companies are also providing these types of services., which you can also
use for mail and package forwarding.

Customers dont always trust po boxes so a local serviced office/mailing address would be good

Keep in mind the Waiver on the CH Website! - They are NOT responsible for the authenticity of information provided. I have seen PLCs registered to Council Houses and other Dodgy Addresses when carrying out Due Diligence Checks!

On the one hand there is a requirement for a level of anonymity, but on the other your clients and customers need to know that you are kosher!
