Can anybody explain to me what is original about a banana stuck to a wall with duct tape?

The buyer who paid a really stupid £5M says they are going to eat the banana.

But fear not, the artist is going to provide instructions to ensure that the duct tape is applied correctly to any replacement banana picked from any old bunch.
