Backlinks Confusion in Google?

I am little bit confused with Google back link...... why back links gone after sometimes like i am getting back link from do follow forum and when i checked ....after some time same link gone and comes after sometime same link .......

is this Google Game ?

What tools are you using to check these links?

Google will often drop links it no longer feels add value, it can change the way is uses the links, it can ignore or reward and even keep things secret.

Remember as well that if Google thinks you are link building to artificially improve your ranking they may well disregard all your links.

Yes fisix you said right, I also think that naturally build links are more important to google.

I tried to find out the reason but I got mostly the quality backlinks.
I think google prefer the quality backlinks. The quality may be the high page rank...

Quite probably because Google doesn't think the links have any value and is ignoring them.

Noticed that a few quite 'strong' backlinks are not showing, including from UKBF. Strange...

i always make/update my work file when i worked for my site .. but i didn't notice any thing that google remove link for some time and again add.. :/

i am doing link building manually no resource and links to us pages in my site
try to more participation in forums and guest blogging then y all these thing happens

I do remember reading once that Google wouldn't want to show all of a sites links ever in case it gave someone the chance to reverse engineer part of the algorithm. Which may also explain why you can't see all of them.

In my experience what I found is google recognises backlinks from forums and websites with high pr... The most important thing is the pace of backlink development.. Don't try to spam google.. They are just merciless in kicking back your website.. One more thing is to make sure your backlink remains for a while.. Google doesnt recognise those links which are new... It waits for sometime and makes sure those links are genuine.. The days of pasting links wherever you want has long gone.. The way google tackles is very sophisticated... You don't need thousands of backlinks to keep ur page on top.. If you have 150 from quality websites that's good enough..

nope. Using link:yourdomain.com only bring you a sample of what google has read. It's better to use google webmaster tool to watch your backlink grow
