Good morning guys,

We're looking for a UK based auto dialler, or at least one with full UK support. Ideally cloud based.

The main features we want, are for the system to automatically leave voicemails. Our sales staff are spending half their time leaving voicemails.

We found what looked like a good solution, but sadly after spending a significant amount of time setting it up, training the staff etc, the voicemail system was flawed. It would leave random segments of the message and so now we're back to the drawing board.

Any advice, pointers etc would be wonderful.

Is there an easy way to do this with Avaya phones and IP Office?

Personally, (providing you are pure cold calling) I would stay away from automated voicemail. Who can honestly say they respond to auto-voicemails ? I don't see any benefit in it at all if I am honest.

What industry are you ?

No cold calling. In a nutshell, we are calling customers who have requested a callback. The voicemails have a decent success rate and most customers are eventually successfully booked in for a quotation.

The issue is only that the voicemails are taking up such a massive amount of time, unnecessarily.

Where are you getting your leads from ? are they being asked the best time to call when they are requesting a call back ?

To say leaving voicemails is taking up a massive amount of time suggests you are leaving a massive amount of voicemails and you have a very poor connection rate. Something wrong somewhere and I expect that can be improved before shelling out on a system that leaves auto-voicemails, which in my experience don't return a great success.

Of course, what is a voicemail anyway? It's a recorded message from the caller.

However, a "normal" voicemail is personalised because you would say "Hello, Paul. I hope you are keeping well. I just wanted to let you know..."

So, for the auto-voicemails to work, you're going to need to be able to personalise the messages. If it sounds like a standard recording then you probably won't get a very high response rate.
