Are You a Google Checkout Seller?

I am considering using Google checkout but would like to hear the experiences of anyone in the forum who is already using it.

There were several posts a few weeks ago - does anyone have more recent experience (good or bad) that they could share?

Hi we have installed google checkout on our site which is integrated with EKMpowershop, the first problem we encountered was that it did not want to charge VAT, this has since been sorted by google, but we are currently having problems with it inventing an £8 delivery charge, we do not charge for delivery on all our products.

We have had to warn people regarding this on the news section of our site, so essentially we cant use it untill this matter is sorted with google, 5 days and still waiting

 

Yep, same problem here. I intergrated it with the hedgehog toys site and it kept throwing up all kinds of problems as the site is US based. Tried it with the merseyrailways site and it wouldn't intergrate properly. Just waiting for a couple of issues to be sorted with Google but hopefully it should be up and running properly soon.

That must be why "do your own site", aren't offering it yet, when i signed up with them they said it should be ready inside a week, almost a fortnight and I am still waiting. I prefer it this way though, at least when I get it , it should work!.

Last I heard from google was that it isn't compaitible with zencart yet, and as that is my shopping cart I am stuck. Shame, guess I will have to wait but by then all the hiccups should be ironed out.
