Anyone know anything about local listings

1. Get and maintain a list of directories
2. Submit site to said directories
3. Monitor and report on activity across all directories
4. Allow changes and updates to all directories
5. Allow responses to feedback etc.

How to do this?

Develop an app, integrate with directory APIs or use tools/components like iMacros to build out the logic - if its the latter, keep your system up to date, test regularly.

Not sure if there are still any good pre-built apps for submission but I'd avoid anyway.

I have a handful of (high DA) directories I use for local listings but I do it manually and don't care too much about responses unless I'm managing reputation, clients get all the login details to admin the accounts after.

Then you'll be competing with some of the most established brands and names in SEO, unfortunately, selling them for incredibly cheap due to their extensive use of Virtual Assistants who are also very experienced.

It's a tough, tough market, unless you have some kind of automated tool (that isn't spammy) that nobody knows about or a decent amount of VA's and it's a side project, to be built into something bigger, I'd likely suggest giving this one a miss.

Its okey! I am totally agree with you here. But not all of the guys are able to use some paid tools you shared here. Success is possible without use them too. But need deep knowledge, know how to avoid spam web pages.
