Hi folks,

I wonder what kind of people is most likely to use a shopping cart to sell things online. I'm doing a research on the trend of ecommerce.

Share your ideas with me.

Thank you guys in advance!!

Hi osicsophie,

I have been in the business of Online Marketing. I offer Online Marketing consultancy to small to medium size businesses. In my experience, now-a-days anybody who is selling products is interested in expending his business to internet for more profit and less running and advertising cost resulting in high ROI. All big and small business owners including small retail shop owners to manufacturers have online retail or wholesale shops.

It is now very easy to have your online store and online payment system. All you need to buy a domain and hosting and you may use some FREE shopping cart software to build your online store.

If you need more info you can PM.

what kind of info are you after, demographic groups?

Not exactly.
I'm just want to know, for example, young graduates may be the groups of people who feel the desire to start their own business and then they choose the Internet to start up.

Any other kind of people will do so?

I think you will find an increasing number of stay at home mums - they can't fit childcare around the old full time job and need to find something to suit with flexible hours.
