Android vs iOS

Some years ago I changed all my iOS devices, iPhone, Apple watch and earpods to android Xiaomi, xiaomi watches T-Rex, and Xiaomi earphones. For a couple of months I was so happy and Android was getting even better from day to day. But! It wouldn't be true if I wouldn't say that I have got as freezes and bugs using Android as I could ever imagine. I am restarting my phone a couple of times per week, and I think I will do it more time in the nearest future. My headphones do not want to connect sometimes to my phone, and they are both Xiaomi. I miss my apple so much. With all that being said, I would like to ask you, all those issues are just only my trouble or any other people around here have noticed the same issue with android

No, in fact I've had the EXACT OPPOSITE experience. Moved from Apple to Android almost 5 years ago and never looked back. CHEAPER - BETTER.

Which Xiaomi devices do you have? are they budget level?

My samsung s20 ultra works like a dream, never misses a beat and plays really nicely with all my other apps and devices.

If only so many millions of people weren't devoted to hacking android and google....evil twin attack, overlays on chrome, fingerprint readers, wifi blockers, the list is endless.

Dump the Xiaomi and get a better phone.

Apple fanboy here; shamelessly. There are things I wish Apple didn't force upon me but I pay the price of that for my Macbook, iMac, iPhone and Watch all working together to control my life for me .
Must admit I haven't and don't experience bugs, glitches and crashing on any of them. Don't know if that's because I have minimal applications installed or if I'm just lucky.

Well, I bought my Xiaomi because of 144hz display. It's brilliant, but seems the me the MIUI is the problem, I think with a clean Android it could be better. Samsung is good enough, I think Samsung is going to be my next phone but I am waiting for the new Samsung Galaxy, as far as I know they have to present it in the nearest future

Android here - use a OnePlus 8T and no problems or issues with it. Used to always use Sony Android phones which were brilliant, but they got too pricey!

Oh! Totally forgot about OnePlus, these phones are nuts. I remember when their first phone was announced, it was a really flagman killer. Even now OnePlus is one of the best Android phones on the market. Thank you for reminding me about these phones, I'll take a closer look at their products

I loved OnePlus when they were cheap, but they got too big for their boots and got expensive, so had to move on...

The kit for the price was far better than I could find elsewhere (eg. samsung etc), but you're right, no one does it on contract so I had to pay in full!

In all three major ecosystems here depending on usage:

• Microsoft Windows on laptops because as a heavy Excel user, nothing works so well
• Android phones because I prefer not being tied into Apple
• iPad because its the best device for consuming content

With Android phones, stock Android is best and for that, the Google phones and a small number of others that run stock Android are best.

Coincidentally I aslo have a MI10T and its a great phone, but the MiUI has bloatware creeping in, so delete it if possible. No problems at all with it though. It also cost one-tenth of what my other-half's iPhone 12 cost!

iphone all the way. But always at least 4 years old in pristine condition from Music Magpie ! Only upgrade when Apple don't support any more. Unlimited text and calls and 15gb data from EE - £7.50. Love a bargain
